Ru’ah is the ancient Hebrew word for “breath” and “spirit”.  In the Bible, Ru’ah is the power of God that brings creative life out of chaos, liberates people from slavery, and inspires prophets, sages, and poets. Ru’ah is the force of divine creativity that is sprinkled in the lines of poets and prophets throughout time.Ru’ah is the special gift of the Creator to the created — that thing which makes us different from all other life forms on this planet: the very Image of God.Ru’ah is the very breath of God, breathed into Adam, that brings us life. Ru’ah is life itself …without it we are but dust.
